Reunion July 2011
The Summer reunion took place on Sunday 24th
July. Whilst we were sadly short of our usual high turnout, the quality of those
attending was very high.
Despite not firing on "all cylinders", Ivy
"Peggy" Davis and Mavis Hall still put in an appearance. The support that we
receive from former pupils like Peggy and Mavis, makes all the work that John
and I do, seem worthwhile!
We had a very informative and interesting talk
from Richard O'Connor on the history of the back to back houses in Hurst Street.
We also say a sad goodbye to Sister Catherine,
who will shortly be leaving the parish for pastures now. Sr. Catherine has been
a very good supporter of the reunion group ans I will be sorry to see her leave.
